The Institute of Global Communications (IGC), a nonprofit organization, serves the activist community through its various networks -- PeaceNet, EcoNet, ConflictNet, LaborNet, and WomensNet. IGC currently links over 11,000 members and an additional 20,000 activists and organizations via the Association for Progressive Communications, which gives local access in over 133 countries. At this site you can resister to become a paying member of IGC (see access instructions), or avail yourself of extensive information without registration, including a large database of resources sorted by category and covering a range of progressive and environmental subjects, an alphabetical listing of environmental and progressive organizations, and resources from these organizations, and publications including alternative news resources, electronic versions of printed magazines, and television and radio broadcasts.
